The sight of the petals falling in circles is beautiful and fascinates people. But I understood it differently: that the petals are in fact strongly resisting falling. I transformed myself into a cherry blossom, expressing the irreplaceable nature of life by spinning for a long time.
桜の花びらがひらひらと回転しながら落ちていく様⼦は、美しく⼈を惹きつける。しかしそれは花びらの諦めが悪く、必死に抗っているからだと私は思った。 桜の花びらの代表に私は変⾝した。世界中の花びらの中で⼀番⻑く回り続け、諦めの悪い命の灯⽕を表現する。
桜が散るとき桜の木もまたその花を見ている
