clay from terminal moraines 

This performance is about the question of how one can approach the glaciers of the Alps, which are separated from us by Lake Constance.

In Überlingen, I transformed myself into a fountain sculpture found there and imitated its posture on the water by walking across a “fountain” made of end-moraine clay.

The stretched clay became a path – and along this path, I was able to come a little closer to the Alps.

At the same time, it is my own way of walking on water.

このパフォーマンスは、ボーデン湖によって私たちから隔てられているアルプスの氷河に、どのように近づくことができるのか、という問いを扱っています。

ウーバーリンゲンでは、そこで見つけた泉の彫刻に自らを変身させ、その姿勢を水上で真似しました。終末氷堆石の粘土で形作られた「泉」の上を歩くことで。

引き延ばされた粘土は道となりその道を通って、私はアルプスにほんの少し近づくことができました。

それは同時に、私自身の「水の上を歩く」方法でもあるのです。
