Here, I transformed into a blackbird. Blackbirds have a bright orange beak and a black body. They can run fast. Their movement reminded me of how the night chases the Sun. But the beak and the body are one – no matter how fast they run, the beak is always at the front. This distance will never decrease. I became the blackbird and chased the Sun.
In Germany, castles are illuminated at night, including Alfter Castle. It glowed like a second Sun. Its former owner was a cactus specialist. Cacti develop spines to protect themselves from too much sun. I collected plants around the castle to create a new “cactus.”
ここでは、私はクロウタドリ（Amsel）に変身しました。
クロウタドリは、輝くようなオレンジの嘴を持ち、真っ黒な体をしています。そして、走るのが上手です。目の前を駆け抜けていくその姿は、まるで夜が太陽を追いかけているように見えました。しかし、嘴と体は一体のため、走っても走っても目の前に見える嘴に近づくことはありません。私はそんなクロウタドリに変身し、同じように太陽（嘴）を追いかけ走り続けました。
ドイツでは夜になると、お城の外壁にスポットライトを当てます。アルフター城もまた照らされており、近くに行くと、太陽のように煌々と光り輝いていました。この城の昔の城主はサボテンの研究者でした。サボテンは自身を強すぎる太陽光から守るためにトゲをつくり、影を生み出しています。このことから、太陽のように見えたアルフター城の周りに生息している植物を集め、その植物からサボテンを生み出すことを試みました。
