I tried to imagine an extinct animal species. When we think of extinct animals, dinosaurs immediately come to mind. I was able to picture such a creature in great detail. In my imagination, I transformed myself into an extinct species— one that doesn’t actually exist and is unknown to anyone. This work is a snapshot of my vision of an extinct animal.
私は絶滅動物を想像によって新たに作り出そうとした。 絶滅動物と聞いて私が真っ先に思い出したのは、恐⻯だった。 恐⻯のような絶滅動物を私なりに想像してみると、細部まで正確にイメージが浮かんできた。存在することのない、誰も知らない絶滅動物に私は変⾝した。本作品はその空想のような絶滅動物が偶然にも収められた映像である。
